Would be nice if the people who voted these mods down would leave a comment as to why. If it’s buggy and doesn’t work it would be nice to know so the modders can fix it, or so we can stay away from it.

I am a big fan of your truck, Viper. It’s the only truck I drive. I have decided to go back to v1.11 as a result of the new Caterpillar engine sounds in v1.12. Given the amount of time a player has to listen to the sound of the motor, it’s a game breaker. The new Cat sounds are really bad. I was really impressed with the rest of the improvements. Thanks.

I have since found my sound issue to be on my end and have corrected the issue. It was either the result of a mod conflict or corrupted save. I apologize for not finding and correct this prior to my post. My biggest concern was that I wouldn’t be able to use the latest version of my favorite mod. Thanks, Viper!

Great mod. Only issue I’ve found is turn signals at night make the truck light up. Flashing. So the color of the truck what it looks like during the day. And the turn signals light up the cabin as well. Everything else is great.

Great Mod. Have always been a Peterbilt 389 fan in Simulators and real life. Do you have any plans to add so good old American black smoke billowing out of the stacks? That would be great if it could be added and not just a constant billowing, just when under load or changing gears. Thanks again for the great mod.

THIS TRUCK IS AWESOME! Why you aren’t being hired by SCS, I don’t know but they should at least take a lesson on the quality and SOUND! This is as every truck should be in the game. I don’t have to stare at my RPM gauge to know when to shift, the truck tells me, just like a real one does. We shift by sound, not by staring at the dashboard. Super truck all around.
ONLY BUG I’VE NOTICED: When I rested at the rest area north of Vegas, my dash turned silver, like the modern one. ( I have the wood grain). I rested again and my dash went back to normal. I mentioned the location because it’s not the first time I slept, so I;m guessing at a location related thing? I have no idea 🙂
    Thanks again!

This truck is so amazing. Good work Viper. I prefer this mod because vanilla SCS trucks do not have much tuning. But this one has lots of tuning. I put it in the mod manager. It shows up as always. Then I turn it on. And load the game. On the desktop I have a Peterbilt 579, this is one of 33 models that I have, I have 21 models of Kenworth T680 and only one model of the W900. I get to the truck dealer, buy it, drive for a while, and go to the dealer which is very close. I get to the customization shop. And then customize it. Wow! Lots of cabins and chassis, and engines, even transmissions are included!? I choose the 63-inch Flat Top Sleeper cabin, 6×4 Long Lowered chassis, 550hp CAT engine, keep the original interior with the new dash, change colors, choose tuning and more. Finally customized it. Let’s drive. It drives like a normal truck. But it is hard to maneuver with 53ft trailers because of the very long chassis. I changed the chassis and it is much better than it was previously. I’m about to have 51 models of this truck and 28 models of the W900 in the future.
