Run the game, then Cheat Engine (either first, it doesn’t matter really). Click the little “Computer” icon on CE and find the ATS process. It will be named amtrucks.exe.

Now have a look at how much money you have and type the amount into the box below “Value” and click “First Scan.”

You’ll see there are loads of different results. Ignore those for the moment. Go back to ATS and spend some money in-game or complete a delivery, so that the amount of money you have changes. Make a note of the change and Alt-Tab back to CE.

Type the new amount into the same box as before, under “Value” and click “Next Scan” and there should only be one result. The new amount of money you now have.

Double-click on the “Address” (will be something like CXXXXXDDXX) and it will appear in the box below. In the lower box, double-click the “Value” (the amount of money you now have) and change it to any number you like. Click “OK” or press Return to verify the change.

Alt-Tab back to ATS and you should now have more money. You might need to change to a different menu to see the new amount. But it does work. I’ve done it, just to get myself a truck at the very start.
