Well, here’s my story.
I’ve always liked simulation games, video games, and modeling.
I took a Blender course about two years ago but never put it into practice because I didn’t have a computer.
It was my birthday recently, and my mom gave me a rather modest but awesome laptop.
From there I got to work.
I bought the American Turk Isulator on Steam, and my curiosity for mods began.
To be honest, I’m more into pickups and stuff like that.
So I said, wow, I have a bit of Blender knowledge, so let’s give it a try…?
And well,
I started watching some tutorials (many, actually).
It was all trial and error, but I think I got it.
I chose this old Chevy 9100 because my grandfather (RIP) had one. Although I never had the honor of seeing it run, and we later sold it for scrap because it was so rusty, I always wanted one.
Unfortunately, I can’t get one, and I guess they’re too expensive in real life.
But not in ATS, lol.
So here it is.
For now, it’s a simple mod.
I borrowed the Impala sound mod from a guy named Tiozao Gamer (I asked for his permission beforehand).
And with the help of AI, I made a manual gearbox simulating a GM T5.
I tried to make the interior as detailed as possible (or as much as I could with the help of YouTube, haha).
