Well. Sigh. I really had my hopes up high on this one. It’s not bad, but? I did get it to work with no issues. My issues with this map are this, small but noticeable. The Cities just appear to close to one another. It really doesn’t seem like you’re in that state if you have ever been there in real life. Kids may not know it. But alot of “us” old timer truckers enjoy this game. Background: I’ve been a trucking for over 30 years, now retired. Been all over the East Coast to insight of the West Coast, from the Long Horn state all the way to Cheese Country. Since SCS hasn’t gotten this far yet with their mods. I thought I would try this one out. When you are coming from Jonesboro Ak into Memphis. There ‘s no Mississippi River’s Bridge? This is a large landmark. Between Memphis and Nashville, it’s travel time is in a blink of an eye. There’s no mountain to climb or descend while you are coming into Cookeville or Knoxville, Tn from Nashville. I realize that these sims can’t be 100 % accurate or to scale. But at least it should be believable. I don’t get this believable feeling with this add on. Going from Charlotte to Raleigh, there’s no identifying landmarks anywhere. From Durham to Raleigh, there’s no RDU Airport. Looking on the map in the Raleigh area. It shows Raleigh, Rt. Mount, Henderson and Fayetteville are very close. Driving them, it feels you’re in a big city with no separation. And lastly, The terrain and map just seems way to generic. It’s like they took a snap shot of a Aerial GPS and sorted it from there. On area’s that I was looking forward too, was coming from The Greensboro area to Raleigh, NC and the way the I-40 and I-85 split. On this map, it doesn’t, it just a generic on/off ramp. With this Mod, you won’t be able to feel, oh I remember this point. it’s here or it there. No, it’s all a generic lay out with no landmarks that I could find. When I came into Raleigh, NC. This map was nothing no where near any landmark that’s familiar. I had no idea of where I was at. I would have paid for this map if it had some sort of closeness to the real place. But being the case, I don’t think I would use this much afterwards. I will look for a better Eastern map or just wait until something more of a close resembles comes along. But again, I did have high hopes and was very excited at first to run the East Coast again with this map, but now not so much.
